We Welcome Refugees
Who We Are
First90 is a 501(c)(3) faith-based refugee resettlement organization and partner of World Relief, a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to empower the local church to serve the most vulnerable.
First90 is the sister organization to Beyond90, a humanitarian nonprofit that bridges the gap to self-sufficiency by providing ongoing services after the resettlement case closes at 90 days. The two organizations together provide a seamless transition and continuum of care so refugees can rebuild new lives in our community.
Refugee Resettlement Concluded for Now
Early in 2025, after receiving our first two families of the year, all new admissions were paused.
While we were deeply disappointed by the government’s decision, it did not stop our commitment to the families we serve. The uncertainty created real fear and stress for newly arrived refugees who were already navigating enormous change. We felt that weight alongside them, and we knew walking away was never an option.

In the face of these challenges, we chose resilience. We leaned on our faith, our partners, and our community to make sure every family still had access to food, housing support, healthcare, and guidance during a critical time. When systems fell short, we stepped in—problem-solving and showing up again and again. Our determination remained firm: no family would be left to face these hardships alone. Together, we continued to serve with compassion, courage, and an unwavering belief that our community is stronger when we care for one another.
Throughout 2025, we worked hard to ensure that every family settled in, began supporting themselves financially, and continued learning English while working hard to become contributing members of our community. Watching their determination and strength was inspiring.
Even when the job placement program was uncertain, families did not give up. We helped with resumes, and they went business to business searching for work. Building a new life was their top priority, and they stayed focused until they were able to provide for themselves and their families.
We are deeply grateful for every family we served as an Affiliate Partner of World Relief. Although our role has changed, we continue to partner with World Relief to meet the ongoing needs of the refugee community and to support the families we resettled and those now calling our community home.
Those who want to be part of supporting the refugee community are invited to visit our sister organization, Beyond90, where there are ongoing opportunities to serve, give, and walk alongside refugee families as they rebuild their lives.
